Getting things ready for First Friday can be very stressful. While trying to make sure all the art work is hung, tagged and the gallery looking good we as art gallery directors have to constantly be aware that we are presenting an image for the public to view. We are either raising the standard or lowering it. We work hard to make sure everything looks great whether it is appreciated or not by the artists. When being asked to be 'The Artist of the Month' some people are so appreciative of the opportunity and consider it an honor and an achievement, while others think they are 'Picasso' incarnate and are here to mock and criticize other artist's works. This is not what Gallery of Inspiration is about. We are about pushing one another forward. Giving each other supportive criticism WHEN and WHERE it is appropriate. Having an humble and grateful attitude about the creative ability that God has given us is what we should express in our attitude and actions. We want to be a positive influence in one another's lives. Stay humble .
